Dedicated team
Evozome is a team of artists and architects inspired by creating geometrical structures, permanent and temporary. Breaking the mould on traditional housing, buildings we create are both stark with modernity and soft with natural materials and processes for inspiration. We design with ecological impact in mind, so the whole lifetime of our buildings is considered and designed for minimal ecological impact.
We are passionate about making the world a better place. One beautifully designed and expertly crafted building at a time, committed to the health of the planet, people and sustainability. In every decision we make, we consider each aspect of ecological impact to be of equal value, and we are knowledgeable about the art and science of building one-of-a-kind buildings.
Evozome designs are guided by nature’s spontaneous proportions to enhance structural strength and promote a sense of well-being. Our design philosophy pushes us to increase the percentage of prefabricated structural elements in our buildings, allowing for optimized quality control and faster buildout. This translates into economically viable structures offering unique structural attributes and unparalleled energy efficiency for generations to come, without sacrificing beauty.
Founded with a vision to revolutionize sustainable architecture, Evozome emerged from a deep respect for both ancient geometric wisdom and cutting-edge environmental design principles. Our journey began with a simple question: How can we create living spaces that honor the planet while providing exceptional comfort and beauty? This question continues to drive every project we undertake, from residential zome homes to commercial installations and glamping structures.
Our team brings together diverse expertise spanning architecture, sacred geometry, sustainable building practices, and artisan craftsmanship. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to tackle complex design challenges while maintaining our commitment to ecological responsibility.
Evozome is dedicated to design in harmony with nature, emulating concepts and ideas found in nature, using biomimicry design as a main approach.
Learning from Nature's Blueprint
Nature has perfected design through billions of years of evolution. By studying patterns found in pinecones, sunflowers, nautilus shells, and honeycomb structures, we incorporate time-tested geometries that optimize space, strength, and energy flow. This biomimicry approach goes beyond aesthetics, it creates buildings that function as living systems, breathing with their environment rather than fighting against it. The double helix pattern found in zome geometry mirrors the DNA structure itself, symbolizing the deep connection between our designs and the fundamental patterns of life.
Why Choose Evozome Architecture?
Beyond their striking visual appeal, zome structures offer practical advantages that make them ideal for various applications. The geodesic-inspired design provides exceptional strength-to-weight ratios, allowing our buildings to withstand extreme weather conditions while using less material than conventional construction. The unique geometry creates naturally efficient airflow and thermal regulation, reducing energy costs year-round.
Our structures serve diverse purposes: eco-friendly homes for forward-thinking families, distinctive glamping accommodations for hospitality ventures, meditation and wellness spaces, artist studios, educational centers, and off-grid retreats. Each application benefits from the zome’s inherent connection to natural patterns and proportions.
We are using zome geometry for building our products
Zomes belong to a family of geometric shapes, made of diamond shapes arranged in a double helix, whose frame is in resonance with the living world.
Sacred geometry can be considered an important tool for enlightenment. Vibrational properties of zomes create an expansion of awareness and increase our perceived capabilities.
The term zome is used in several related senses. A zome in the original sense is a building using unusual geometries (different from the standard house or other building which is essentially one or a series of rectangular boxes). The word “zome” was coined in 1968 by Steve Durkee, now known as Nooruddeen Durkee, combining the words dome and zonohedron
